The mental health of children and young people has deteriorated in recent years and the pandemic has made the situation worse. It is now estimated that 1 in 6 children have a probable mental health disorder.
These next few years will now be crucial for focusing on children’s emotional wellbeing and supporting their recovery.
We continued to work with schools and families throughout the pandemic providing counselling, advice and guidance.
As we now return to normality, we are focusing on how to support all children to reflect on their experiences, process their feelings and develop their resilience and coping skills.
We provide practical, evidence-based strategies and ideas for the youngest children right up to teenagers and school leavers.
In our training participants enjoy an interactive and engaging session and go away with practical ideas they can use immediately.
Recent training sessions include;
- Addressing Staff mental health & Well-being
- 5 steps to positive mental health
- Tackling Anxiety in schools
- Helping children return to school post Covid
- Year 11 – anxiety and exam stress
- Trauma based learning
